WOW the weather was perfect and set the stage for an awesome
celebration with family and friends.  Our yard was the host, complete
with dinosaur air bouncer, a haystack hunt, tattoo booth, and some
water fun for the kids; a card table (that saw lots of action) set up
for  the adults. We had loads of babies to squeeze, the newest being
Brooke Lacilla who had plenty of boy's around her - cousin Noah,
Lucas and Paul Dilworth, and Christian Voros.
At dusk, Jordan drove the kids around the yard in the
John Deere, awesome!  If there were awards to give out,
Karen would receive most valuable player as i am confident nothing
would have been set up had things been left to me.  She, together
with Jack and Derek, put the yard together and then she proceeded
to set up the inside.  She even put makeup on and was ready to greet
guests.  where, do you ask, was i ?  good question.  oh yeah, i was off
with mom picking up, i mean letting go, of the balloons for the party!  Yup,
we watched one of the two sets of balloons take off out of the back of the van and into the air.  There was no catching up with them and we laughed all the way to the bakery to pick up the cakes.  At least nothing happened to them. Most creative genius award goes to none other than my sister in law Michele who besides having the ideas for the hayhunt and tattoo booth, created and sewed t-shirts for my boys and her three, and STAFF shirts for the adults. They were awesome!.  Thanks Michele!

I wasn't sure how to say thank you this year so I put together a collage like last year and am using my website to share it with everyone.  So to all of you who piled into your cars from near and far to be here, we thank you.  For those who couldn't make it this time, see you next year.

Thank you very much for the gifts, donations and that fabulous handmade card!
They were each special and will be cherished.

I would like to mention that for Derek and I, having everyone here together IS the gift and we are so happy that you came by.  We had eighteen of my family sleepover on Saturday night!  That is incredible!  It was a blast and I still have a huge grin on my face.  I, for one, needed it and miss each of you much.  Our door is open, always open, to family and friends.  Come on by!  Okay, below is the picture collage and last year's too.

Already my mind wanders to next year when I think we should just call it a reunion, or make it a celebration of both Sam and Nicolas' birthdays.....any suggestions?  I know the date will change so we can make sure that Gabe and John Levanti can make it.  And next year the White's from Belgium will be here.  Excellent!  It's shaping up already.  I think I heard somone say something about ponies? ..........??!!
